Hoops star James Johnson, who just signed with the Brooklyn Nets, has also signed a lease to rent a Tribeca pad at 57 Reade St. Johnson, 34, is a 12-year NBA veteran.

“He toured the apartment in late September and signed the lease in early October. He loves the layout and the location,” a source close to the deal told Gimme.

The three-bedroom, three-bathroom condo was asking $16,500 a month to rent.

It opens to a large gallery foyer and comes with an open-floor plan and high ceilings that work well with Johnson’s 6-foot-7 frame.

At 1,900 square feet, the spacious spread features floor-to-ceiling windows with city views, wide teak floors, walnut and marble built-ins, custom lighting and outdoor space.

The open living room boasts a terrace and a reading/office alcove, while a roomy eat-in chef’s kitchen comes with an ostrich-leather banquet.
