The one where the apartment sells to the woman next door — again.
“Friends” star Courteney Cox, 58, has offloaded her longtime West Hollywood, California home to another building resident. And this isn’t the first time the buyer has purchased one of the actress’ former units at the building.
Dirt first reported on the off-market sale of her 25th-floor Sierra Towers property to a fellow resident. That buyer, Angelique Soave, is the same buyer who scooped up an adjoining 25th-floor unit Cox sold in a separate 2020 off-market deal.
Soave paid $2.9 million for the first apartment in the famously star-studded, 146-unit building. This time she put out $4.5 million, Dirt reported. Now, with both of Cox’s previous apartments plus one she bought from actress Joan Collins, Soave — a waste-management mogul’s daughter — owns half of the building’s 25th floor.
Cox made quite the profit in the most recent sale, having purchased the two-bedroom, two-bathroom, just over 1,700-square-foot apartment for $2.1 million in 2011 — almost half of what Soave paid for it. The first unit she sold to Soave was also at a profit — in that case, to the tune of $400,000.
The 31-story tower — built in 1965 — boasts amenities including a gym, a swimming pool and a concierge. It’s located at the edge of Beverly Hills, above the Sunset Strip.
Earlier this year, Cox revealed the reason why she previously offloaded yet another Los Angeles property, this one in Laurel Canyon: It was haunted.
“I was at the house one day, not being a believer. And the doorbell rang,” she recalled on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” this winter, The Post previously reported. “It was a UPS guy or something, and I opened the door and he said, ‘Do you know this house is haunted?’ “And I go, ‘Yeah, why? Why do you think that?’”
The UPS guy then informed her someone was standing behind her.
“I was like, ‘Let’s sell,’” Cox recalled.
