For an unbelievable price, this lodging offers to make fantasy into reality.
Deep-pocketed fans of “Harry Potter” can now rent a palace-sized lodging inspired by the famed book and film series.
Robert Rivani, the president of real-estate investment group Black Lion, and his wife, Krystal, spent the pandemic working together on a unique investment project: Transforming the Beverly Hills mansion they’d purchased for $13.76 million into a livable rental inspired by “Harry Potter,” as well as “Game of Thrones” and “Alice in Wonderland.”
“Growing up my favorite movie was Harry Potter, it was even the theme of our wedding,” Rivani told Insider.
Now, the property is currently available to rent for a cool $110,000 a month, a markdown from its previous price of $150,000 a month.
The pair put a great deal of care into decorating the 15,200-square-foot magical royalty-worthy compound, and its seven bedrooms and 11 baths are all intricately decked out in various otherworldly notes. Knights and gargoyles abound, and there’s Gothic-style ornamentation throughout. There’s also a Hogwarts-worthy great hall, heavy drapery, chandeliers galore, arched showers worthy of a dungeon — and a stunning, flower-checkered garden around the pool and backyard patio area.
The home is set on just over 1.7 acres, and also boasts a custom bar room, a sports court, a six-car subterranean garage — and it all comes fully furnished.
“Without doubt, 9 Beverly Ridge Terrace is one of the most unique rental offerings in all of Los Angeles,” listing representative Sam Collins told The Post. “The combination of Italian romanticism, combined with Gothic and fantasy themes, provides a prospective tenant the opportunity to live out their dreams.”
Collins shares the listing with fellow Douglas Elliman broker Joshua Altman.
Although the couple is renting it, they doesn’t currently have plans to sell the house, which they couldn’t adore more. “I want to be buried in that house, but I’m a businessman, so never say never,” Rivani told Insider.
