Home sold prices dropped to a two year low for the California housing market as the number of homes for sale surged by 38% from last year. Based on my analysis of the California Association of Realtor’s data, the median sold price in the state has now declined by 18% over the past 9 months. In addition, prices have decreased by 4.8% over the past 12 months. The median sold price in California has now fallen on a year-over-year basis for four consecutive months. Before that, the last time prices fell annually was February 2012 for the California real estate market (and .
