US Government Wants to Ban Foreclosures AGAIN?

The US government wants to ban foreclosures… Again?

Amid record low housing inventory, the Biden Administration is extending COVID-19 loss mitigation options to ALL mortgage borrowers regardless of the cause of delinquency.

That means FHA borrowers who fall behind on payments won’t face foreclosure for the next year and a half.

And if you default?

You could see a reduction in your monthly payments by up to 25% – an interesting incentive structure to say the least.

It’s a bold move to ban certain types of foreclosures, and it’s sure to raise eyebrows, but is it the right call?
