Back in the dark days of March 2020, we reported that Chelsea Piers had signed a lease to open a huge fitness club and community recreation center at TF Cornerstone’s 595 Dean St. in Brooklyn’s Pacific Park complex (previously called Atlantic Yards).
They’ll finally throw the “Field House” doors open with a launch party on June 17 for the 103,000 square-foot, community-oriented facility at the base of the apartment tower.
The family-friendly center offers a heated, learn-to-swim pool, an Olympics-size gymnastics center and two turf fields, among other features.
The Field House will also host weekly day camps and Saturday morning recreational classes for the summer and launch full-scale, after-school and weekend classes in the fall.
