All-pink Victorian home asks $1.1M: ‘What in the Pepto-Bismol is going on here?!’

Real Estate

Talk about a real-life Barbie Dreamhouse, where fans of the summer blockbuster movie can live out their fantasies away from the cinema.

A Wisconsin property that’s completely painted in a stylish shade of pink — and from the inside out, no less — has hit the market for $1.1 million.

Located in Hudson, the dwelling occupies more than 5,600 square feet, with seven bedrooms and four bathrooms.

One block from the St. Croix River and steps from downtown, the listing notes that the home is currently licensed as an Airbnb — and one that appears to be a standout stay for travelers looking to paint the town pink.

It adds that it can “easily be converted to a stately residence or owner-occupied rental.”

Apart from the marketing, the vibrant-looking home has already made the rounds on the popular Instagram account Zillow Gone Wild, earning nearly 50,000 likes over the past 24 hours — as well as a number of comments.

“The owner owns a makeup shop and did my wedding makeup 😂 she loves barbie and pink!” one person commented on the post, which was aptly captioned “#barbiecore, anyone?”

“What in the Pepto-Bismol is going on here?!” Another person quipped.

“it’s kind of giving bratz…” Someone else wrote.

The images show a strong display of individuality. The exterior, with scalloped woodwork, is completely clad in the color. Inside, the shade extends into a foyer with a staircase, pink-painted walls with moldings to match, a kitchen with a Barbie logo on one of its walls — and even hardwood floors that were painted, you guessed it, in pink.

The images, however, show one space inside that’s almost fully black: a bathroom whose dark wallpaper accentuates Barbie’s ponytailed profile in pink.

Apart from the bold decor, features include 6-foot stained-glass windows, a second floor reading nook — and two full kitchens with an informal dining area, a formal dining room and a living space with a fireplace.

Built in 1900, the main floor family room features original woodwork.

There are four bedrooms on the second level and three bedrooms on the third level with a movie theater room, pretty perfect for watching a certain Greta Gerwig film.

Outdoor amenities include a hot tub, a swimming pool and a covered front porch.

Jennifer Martin with Edina Realty holds the listing.
