House with Green Bay Packers field in the backyard lists for sale

Real Estate

In Wisconsin, a humble abode for sale promises not just a dwelling, but a chance to reside steps from the hallowed grounds of Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers.

Indeed, just a stone’s throw from the team’s stadium, a modest four-bedroom, two-bathroom house has listed for $699,900.

With a view of the stadium, the house presents a tantalizing prospect for die-hard Packer enthusiasts.

The listing, replete with enthusiasm, touts its virtues as a dream residence for fans seeking a slice of the action. “Packer fans dream! Great rental income or a place to call home and overlook the Packer Stadium! Must see 4 bed, 2 bath, hot tub, inground pool, GREAT for entertaining! Don’t let this opportunity slip away!”

As trends emerge around NFL stadiums nationwide, homeowners are capitalizing on their properties by offering short-term rentals during game days, prompting some online commentators to speculate that this house’s price might actually be a steal given its proximity to Lambeau Field.

In the vicinity of Lambeau, houses have morphed into veritable “Packers party houses,” while others have cleverly transformed their driveways into paid parking spaces for eager game-goers.

However, for prospective buyers eyeing a more permanent residence, the proximity to the stadium comes with a caveat: game day noise. Yet, with just around 10 games annually, the commotion is contained within a limited timeframe.

The stadium also hosts an array of events, including concerts, throughout the year.

The 2,112-square-foot house reveals Lambeau Field’s grandeur from its front yard, sitting gracefully on a quarter-acre plot.

A relic from 1968, the property features a quaint front porch, a complete kitchen, a basement, a dining room, a fireplace, a backyard deck, a hot tub and a pool alongside its four bedrooms.

However, photos show the interiors are in need of some cosmetic and technical upgrades.

Cory Blohm of Make A Move Realty holds the listing.

“What a fun property to be able to list,” Blohm told The Post.

The Green Bay Packers have witnessed a middling season, barely scraping past the Carolina Panthers in a recent away game during week 16.

Conversely, the Detroit Lions clinched their playoff berth, marking a memorable day in NFC North Division history.

Despite Green Bay’s ups and downs on the field, their passionate fan base remains unwavering.

Since 1960, a mere three years post-Lambeau Field’s inauguration, the stadium has boasted sold-out season tickets, perpetuating the legendary waitlist that has swelled over the decades.
