Danish tennis champ Caroline Wozniacki and her husband, retired NBA All-star husband David Lee, have put their sprawling Florida home on the market.
Wozniacki, 33, and Lee, 40, purchased the penthouse atop the luxe Palazzo Del Sol condo complex on Miami-Dade County’s exclusive Fisher Island for $18.7 million back in June 2021, according to the Wall Street Journal, which first reported the listing.
Now they are seeking a serious mark-up for the palatial apartment: The unit is currently listed with Douglas Elliman’s Dina Goldentayer for $42.5 million.
Although a $23.9 million price increase over the course of less than three years may seem high, Goldentayer told the Journal that it’s actually in line with new developments on the elite, 216-acre barrier island, which is among the nation’s most expensive ZIP codes.
“When something checks a lot of boxes — the right amount of space, has the open downtown ocean view — buyers know it’s going to get scooped up and they act fast,” she explained of the condo.
Built in 2016, the residence measures in at 7,000 square feet, and features five bedrooms and six bathrooms.
The apartment opens to an “opulent” foyer, which leads to a great room featuring 18-foot-high ceilings and oak herringbone flooring, all “impeccably positioned toward the Western sunset & skyline views enhanced by picturesque glass pocket doors,” the listing says.
The enormous entertaining space is designed to have four distinct areas for hosting: A salon, a bayfront bar, a TV room and a formal dining area.
In the kitchen, there’s a dine-in marble island, a wine wall and an oven hood with Art Deco details.
Other amenities include an additional 5,000 square feet of terrace, a private rooftop pool, a hot tub, a summer kitchen and a top-of-the-line sound system in the media den.
