‘RHONJ’ star Jennifer Aydin wants to turn mansion into B&B, downsize

“Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Jennifer Aydin is hoping to turn her NJ mega-mansion into a Bed & Breakfast and eventually downsize to a smaller home, she revealed in an interview with The Post.

“You know the saying: bigger house, bigger problems,” the 44-year-old beauty said. “The harder it falls the harder it is to fix.”

Currently, Aydin lives with her husband, plastic surgeon Bill Aydin, and their five children in a nine-bedroom, 16-bathroom estate in Paramus.

“This is the biggest house I am going to get. I have five kids. We have extended family. My father lives with me. My siblings come over all the time. So for our lifestyle, it works for us right now,” Aydin added. “But of course in the future, I do hope to downsize.”

Aydin said she is considering turning the home, which spans nearly 10,000 square feet, into a bed and breakfast.

“It can actually work because the house has nine bedrooms,” she explained. “And every single bedroom has a bathroom with a shower. So I thought, you know, maybe I can make money on this.”

The reality star held a charity event Wednesday at 46 Lounge in Totowa for her brother, Steven Aydin, to help raise funds for school musicals.

Steven, who has been a teacher for the past 16 years, runs the Long Island Musical Theatre Festival, a “professional summer theatre intensive program designed for middle school, high school and college students,” according to its site.

“We do two productions in two weeks and people don’t understand how much costs really go into a show,” Steven told The Post. “Think about the sets, costume, lighting, stage managers, the designers, the creative team. And a lot of people don’t know you need to purchase the rights to even do the show.”

Dolores Catania and the latest housewife to join the franchise, Caroline Rauseo, were also in attendance.
