Home custom-built for Steph Curry with $250K veggie garden asks $8.9M

Real Estate

A custom-built home for Golden State Warriors player Steph Curry has just hit the market for $8.9 million.

Located in Alamo, California, Curry, his wife, and three children lived in the six-bedroom, nine-bathroom mansion from 2018 to 2019.

They were forced to move after his team relocated to San Francisco’s new arena from Oakland — and the commute was no longer ideal for the NBA star.

Curry and and his wife, Ayesha — an author, chef, and entrepreneur —  were “very involved in picking all the finishes and fixtures in the home, and almost everything is from Spain or Italy,” a rep for the listing told The Post.

The Currys spent a total of $6.4 million to build, landscape and furnish the home. It was completed in 2018.

The current seller is a chief executive at an investment company who knew Curry personally and bought the home from him in 2019 in an off-market deal. But he’s now selling because he’s moving to Florida, the rep added.

Spanning more than 8,100 square feet, the home comes packed with amenities.

Features include four garages with room for seven cars, a detached gym, a theater with a $500,000 projection and sound system, a $250,000 vegetable garden, a billiards room, a separate guest wing and a separate children’s wing.

That pricey vegetable garden, meanwhile, comes with raised beds, fruit trees and irrigation.

Situated on 1.35 acres, the modern contemporary home boasts 30-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling glass windows, a double-sided fireplace, custom lighting and heated Italian wood floors, the listing notes.

The primary suite features a 1,160-square-foot private terrace, three custom walk-in closets, two offices, and a glass and steel floating staircase.

Meanwhile, the entertainment room features a pool table and a wet bar.

Outdoor amenities include a salt water pool and spa — and a fire pit, an outdoor kitchen with barbecue, a pizza oven, a refrigerator and a smoker, the listing says. It also has a covered patio with heaters, a cabana and swinging lounge sofas.

To finish it off, the home comes completed with an elaborate high-tech security system.

“There are few homes like this with ultra-contemporary glass and steel on a flat gated acre in Alamo, and it’s one of the most coveted properties in the area,” listing agent, Bonnie King of Compass, told The Post.
