Another week, another giant fitness center in an office building!

This one’s at RXR’s leviathan Starrett-Lehigh Building, where Adidas will launch a 15,000 square-foot 601 Athletic Club. The facility joins the 100,000 square feet of tenant and public amenities at the building, which include Marcus Samuelson’s restaurant Hav + Mar, the new Olly Olly Food Hall, and a public art and event space that hosted the recent Basquiat exhibition.

The 601 Athletic Club boasts state-of-the-art Peloton equipment and offers exclusive programming such as for yoga and pilates classes, a walking club  and “no-cooking” cooking classes.

Starrett-Lehigh’s 2.3 million square feet make the 1931 landmark one of the city’s largest commercial buildings. The masterpiece of the industrial-modernist style between 11th and 12th avenues boasts such office tenants as Ralph Lauren, McGarry Bowen, Fashionphile and Wheels Up. It’s 73% leased with new deals pending. Since RXR took control in 2011, asking rents have risen from $30 to $70 psf.
