My name is Ben and I have been living in Thailand for around 5 years, in this video I wanted to discuss buying property in Thailand as a foreign national. Thailand has strict laws and restrictions on foreign ownership of land and property, it is actually illegal for foreigners to own land here and condominium blocks must be majority owned by Thai citizens. Given these restrictions I thought it worth going over the routes foreign nationals can take to owning property in Thailand such as; buying a condo, usufruct (lease) and buying through a Thai company.
