Victim of Deed Theft? Do THIS Immediately! #realestate #homeownership #realestateinvesting

Tips
If you discover you’re a victim of deed theft, you need to act fast. Contact your county records office immediately, place fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, review your credit reports, and notify any creditors of fraudulent accounts. You may need to file for judicial review, submit an FTC identity theft affidavit, file a CFPB complaint, report the crime to the FBI’s IC3, and in some cases hire an attorney. Speed is everything.
